The Scottsdale Charros and the City of Scottsdale are host to the San Francisco Giants Spring Training games held at Scottsdale Stadium during February and March of every year. Funds are raised through the sale of advertising, banners, and tickets to the Charro Lodge and Pavilion. The season begins with the Western Heritage First Pitch; an annual western-themed silent auction, dinner and dance. Proceeds from Spring Training and First Pitch are donated by the Charros back to the community, making the organization one of Scottsdale's largest philanthropic contributors.
Conveniently located in central Arizona, Scottsdale is the perfect hub for exploring all the natural wonders and unique attractions that our state has to offer. And perhaps the most popular day trip from Scottsdale is an excursion to one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World - the majestic Grand Canyon.
